ART – How to Draw a Consistent Character

Drawing a Consitent CharacterI’m amazed by how often I get asked something like, “how can I draw my characters looking the same every times I draw them?”  I hadn’t realized it was a problem, but the subject kept coming up.

After one of my patrons and fellow artist Aaron D’Errico (who’s a great guy) asked me this question again, I thought I should just make a video.  In the video below, I tried giving some tips on measuring and comparing parts of the character so you can best see what makes them look the way they do.

I also suggest an exercise that can be done to get better at “seeing,”  and analyzing drawings.

I hope you find the video helpful:

Want To Get a Video From Me?

If you liked this video and would like me to discuss something you think I might know about…

If you want to ask me a question about drawing that you might be struggling with…

If you want to suggest a character or drawing you’d like me to draw…

…feel free to ask or suggest away, either here on my comments or anywhere else you’d like to contact me.

Just be aware that my Patreon patrons get their questions answered first and they get to see the videos weeks before anyone else.
